How to organize an intimate wedding

Weddings are every girl’s dream occasion.  It is the very day that a girl will enter a new chapter of her life while leaving her singleness and immediate family.

And of course, she wants every important person to be there, to witness how she will walk down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams.

But what if a girl decided to have an intimate wedding with just few and most important people as guests?

How is she going to make this possible?

Here are some tips when you are planning to do an intimate wedding for your most special day.

Choose a small place for the church and reception area.  Smaller places bring a silent and beautiful ambience for an intimate wedding. Aside from that, this choice is strategic because you will focus on following the allowable number of guests based on the size of the venue. And what’s more important here is that you will really know who are the most important people since you really have a strict allowable number of guests. Also, always remember to do your purchase in smaller portions or packages like: a small fancy cake, small photography/videography package.

Make a guest list and be compliance. In short, you will really invite those people who you think are needed to witness the celebration. An intimate wedding is approximately composed of 40 in the minimum and 50 in maximum guests.

Choose beautiful and heart moving songs. Music plays a big factor in an intimate wedding. A successful intimate wedding is based on how the bride and the groom will feel the wedding inside their hearts. Sending this message to the guests is a confirmation of the great intimacy that the wedding gives.

Intimate wedding is also composed of self-made items in the wedding. Self-made items are items that are personally made by the bride or groom. A great example is the invitation and souvenir items.  If you cannot do all the stuffs for your self-made items, do not hesitate to ask help from friends and family members. You’ll be surprise that they are very much willing to extend help for your special day.

Using candles also adds up to the intimate ambience of the wedding. Candlelight can create a specific mood that can be relatable to being intimate.

Every wedding is successful when the bride and the groom feels happy and so much in love before, during and after the wedding, so whether couples choose an intimate or a big wedding, it will not matter. What will matter most is the essence that the wedding will play on their married life.
